GOVERNOR Godwin Obaseki of Edo State got trapped in flooded Benin City road yesterday to the mockery of international community after becoming victim of his bad administration.
Patriot Patrick Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal and President of One Love Foundation in a terse press statement made available to Trojan News Media Correspondent said Governor Godwin Obaseki has become victim of him own tragic failure in governance.
“Money and corruption are ruining the land, crooked politicians betray the working man, pocketing the profits and treating us like sheep, and we’re tired of hearing promises that we know they’ll never keep.
“It is raining season out there and there are no good roads in Benin City.
“Godwin Obaseki was a victim of himself yesterday. Obaseki has so far enslaved the Edo people and himself at the same time.
“He has enslaved the people who gave him a ladder to climb so he can get to the top.
“Now he hates the people who made him.
“Nemesis certainly awaits him, because he who defecate on the bush path shall meet the flies on his returns”, Dr Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor senior advocate of the masses wrote.
Records in the State’s Ministry of Works and Urban Development revealed that Governor Adams Oshiomhole constructed a service lane for Ugbowo Lagos Road (Federal Road);
Oshiomhole constructed 5 Junction with underground erosion control (Federal Road), expanded Sapele Road with walkways and drainages, including flowers (Ring Road – Ikpokpan Junction (Federal Road), expanded Sokponba Road with walkways and drainages (Ring Road – Ekiosa) Federal Road,
Oshiomhole expanded 5 junction – Dawson Road with walkways and drainages (Federal Road), Oshiomhole expanded Akpakpava with walkways and drainages (Ring Road – Ikpoba River) (Federal Road) but Obaseki got a refund of N17 Billion on these projects at the expiration of Governor Oshiomhole’s term of office.
