PDP Leaders Meet Goodluck Jonathan Amid Defection Rumour (Video)

Some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday met with former President Goodluck Jonathan, Newsextra24 reports.

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki made this known via a post across social media platforms.

In the video, Mr Jonathan is seen receiving the delegates with smiles as he exchanges pleasantries with them.

According to Saraki, the meeting was to resolve challenges in the party.

“As part of our efforts to listen to the concerns of key stakeholders across our great party, this afternoon, the @OfficialPDPNig Reconciliation & Strategy Committee is meeting with our immediate past President, H.E. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (@GEJonathan),” Saraki captioned his post.

This comes amid rumour that the All Progressives Congress is considering pitching Jonathan and Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai for the 2023 Presidency.

Jonathan has since discredited the rumour.
