Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has alleged she is being threatened by the government for joining the #EndSARS protest against police brutality and the now-defunct controversial Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Newsextra24 reports that the mother of two in a social media post on Wednesday shared a picture of herself, saying she woke up to a message from a friend that her name was being mentioned in government circles.
Iyabo had been a supporter of the #EndSARS campaign, joining the protest in Lagos. She had on October 25 vowed never to support any politician from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Iyabo’s vow came after President Muhammadu Buhari failed to address the Lekki shooting in his speech on October 21. |
