APC Group Warns Recalled Envoys Against Undermining President Tinubu’s Powers

RECALLED envoys and ambassadors have been warned by a coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) support groups to refrain from tarnishing the country’s reputation abroad.

At a press conference in Abuja, the groups cautioned the envoys, particularly the Ambassador to Zambia, of sponsoring unfounded media campaigns against the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Addressing the press conference were Amb. Haj. Rabi Garba Dangizo, Director General of Progressive Arewa People Support, ASIWAJU/Shattima, PAPSA, and Amb. (Dr.) Adewale Adeogun, Founder/National Coordinator of Asiwaju Progressive Forum and National Coordinator of Tinubu National Think Tank, TNT.

The groups expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of some of the envoys, accusing them of undermining President Tinubu’s authority and engaging in activities that jeopardize Nigeria’s security.

They were surprised by the “routine Diplomatic Process” turning into a campaign against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, government officials, and national symbols.

The Coalition of APC Political Support Groups for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu called on Nigerians to support the government instead of spreading malicious information.

Regarding the envoys’ pending entitlements, the APC groups stated that severance payments, known as passages, have been disbursed through the Central Bank of Nigeria. They urged the envoys to cease the orchestrated media war to protect the integrity of President Tinubu and Nigeria’s sovereignty.

The statement cautioned the recalled Nigerian High Commissioner To Zambia, Ambassador Ominiyi Eze, and his associates against causing international embarrassment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Nigerian government.

The members of the Coalition of APC Support Groups firmly stood with the APC-led Government and called for an end to actions disrespectful to the country and its symbols.
