Usman Ahmed Ododo Sworn In As Kogi State Governor

THE fifth democratically-elected Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been sworn in. The oath of office was administered by the Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Josiah Mejabi, at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja, the State capital.

Ododo took the oath at 2:27pm, following his Deputy, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo, who was sworn in at 2:18pm amid cheers from a large crowd of personalities and well-wishers. Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, was present at the ceremony.
