ALHAJI Akeem Akintola, the Oyo State Chairman of the Tipper, Lorry, and Quarry Park Management System (PMS), was abducted by unknown gunmen on Saturday.
The kidnapping took place at his residence in the Ajiboye area of Omi Apata, Ibadan, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria.
A source, wishing to remain anonymous, revealed that the gunmen forcefully entered Akintola’s residence in the early hours of Saturday and took him to an undisclosed location.
Efforts to contact the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, were unsuccessful, as numerous calls to his phone went unanswered.
