Sierra Leone Govt Declares Nationwide Curfew Over Military Breach

THE declaration of a nationwide curfew in Sierra Leone by the government was prompted by an attempted breach of the country’s armoury by some unidentified individuals. Chernor Bah, the Minister of Information and Civic Culture, confirmed this development in a release on Sunday. The release also mentioned that those responsible for the attempted breach have been apprehended.

In light of this incident, a nationwide curfew has been imposed with immediate effect to facilitate the apprehension of the suspects, and citizens are strongly advised to remain indoors.
