THE All Progressive Congress, APC, has inaugurated its campaign council for the Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency rerun election in Jigawa State.
Governor of Jigawa State Malam Umar Namadi inaugurated the committee on Wednesday at the state APC secretariat in Dutse.
Trojan News reported that the National Assembly Election Tribunal had declared the February 25, 2023, election of Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency as inconclusive.
The Court of Appeal also affirmed the judgement of the Tribunal.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced plans to conduct rerun polls in state and federal constituencies in the second week of February 2024.
