THE Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ekiti State Command has arrested one Afolabi Ojo of Olujoda Street, Ado-Ekiti, popularly known as Afo for allegedly raping a four year old girl in the State.
The suspect was arrested after the mother of the girl made a formal complaint at the office of the NSCDC in Ado-Ekiti.
The four years old alleged that Afo removed her pant and had carnal knowledge of her late last month.
Similarly, the mother of the girl who spoke to journalist stated that her daughter informed her about the incident.
However, the suspect denied all claims saying he was implicated.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Tolu Afolabi said a medical report has confirmed that the hymen of the “little” girl has been broken, adding that investigation is ongoing.
