Talented Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has reportedly died at the age of 40.
Truthng reports that the movie star sadly passed away after complications from an illness at a hospital in Lagos State.
Family, friends, and loved ones are said to be deeply devastated by the heartbreaking loss.

Alex Ekubo is best known for his roles in Nollywood romantic comedies and dramas and is considered one of the most bankable and versatile talents in contemporary African cinema.
He was the first runner-up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest and rose to prominence in the Nollywood blockbuster, Weekend Getaway.
In 2020, he was named one of the “Most Influential People of African Descent under 40 by the United Nations, for his contributions to entertainment and social development across the continent.
Recall that Nollywood actor, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, recently cleared the air about the well-being of his close friend and colleague, Alex Ekubo, amid concerns from fans about his long absence from social media and public events.
He addressed the issue in a video shared online, in which he was seen with Alex at a family gathering.
According to him, Alex was present at his sister’s wedding and appeared healthy and fine.
He explained that the actor is not dealing with any health problems but has chosen to step away from social media and public life for personal reasons.
IK said Alex decided to take a break to focus on himself and get some rest from the pressure of constant public attention.
