NECO releases 2025 SSCE results, 60.26% pass

The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

NECO Registrar Prof. Dantani Wushishi announced the release of the results at the council’s headquarters in Minna, the capital of Niger State, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

Wushishi disclosed that 60.26 per cent of candidates recorded five credits and above in English and Mathematics.

The NECO boss put the number of candidates with five credits and above, irrespective of Mathematics and English, at 1,144,496, representing 84.26%.

He disclosed that 1,367,210 candidates registered for the examination, with 685,514 males and 681,696 females.

Wushish disclosed that 1,358,339 sat for the examination, with 680,292 males and 678,047 females.
