Man Stabs Cousin To Death Over Missing Phone In Nasarawa

Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested a man identified as Ibrahim Musa for stabbing his 15-year-old cousin, Muhammad Musa, to death over a missing phone.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in Mararaba, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to Daily, a witness, Babatunde Idowu, said Ibrahim was struggling to retrieve his handset from Muhammad who he accused of stealing and hiding it.

The witness said, “While Ibrahim was piling pressure on the late Muhammad to surrender the phone to him, he drew out a kitchen knife from his pocket and stabbed him on the chest and Muhammad slumped.

“Realising that Muhammad had dropped dead, Ibrahim threw the knife into a gutter and fled the scene.

“However, some youths chased and caught him before handing him over to the police.”

It was further gathered that the remains of Muhammad have since been buried according to Islamic rites.
