Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed a former House of Representatives member, Mr Busari Olayemi, as the Director-General (DG), Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office.
This is contained in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Dr Suleimon Olanrewaju.
According to the statement, the appointment of Olayemi was made known in a letter signed by the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Mr Segun Ogunwuyi.
Olayemi, who hitherto had served as the Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs to Oyo State, replaces Mr Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji.
The governor congratulated the new DG, urging him to discharge his duties with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the state.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
