The Ajimobi family has been thrown into mourning once again following the death of Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi, the younger brother of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
Newsextra24 understands that he was aged 67.
According to BBC, Teslim Ajimobi died in London on Thursday, six years after the passing of his elder brother, Abiola Ajimobi, who died in 2020.
His death adds to a series of losses experienced by the family in recent years, including the death of one of the former governor’s daughters.
Details surrounding the cause of his death were not available as of the time of filing this report.
The family had also not released an official statement announcing the development.
Before his death, Teslim Ajimobi was involved in politics and business.
In 2017, he served as the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area in Oyo State, where he participated in grassroots administration and community affairs.
Beyond politics, he was known for his business activities both within and outside Nigeria.
He held interests in several ventures and served in leadership roles in private companies, including London-based Teslis Global Services Ltd.
Family members, friends and associates are said to be saddened by the news, as they remember him for his relationship with people and his involvement in public and business life.
