The Federal Government has recognised and awarded 29 staff for their hard work and performance in thr discharge of their various duties in the civil service.
The staff were given 32 inches television set each for their contributory role to the growth of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq during the launch of the Ministry’s revised service charter and rewards and recognition of deserving staff of the Ministry, urged the awardees not to relent in their duties.
Farouq while handing over the television to the awardees said: “As you may be aware, the Ministry has been rendering services to millions of its customers through its various programmes and
activities. As such it has become very important for the ministry to reward and recognize its staff who have been working tirelessly to ensure that the Ministry’s mandates are met.
