The ‘Areafada’ said he joined former President Olusegun Obasanjo on a tour of the state-of-the-art 650,000 barrels-per-day facility situated at Lekki Free Zone in Lagos State.
According to CharlyBoy, the refinery is a clear indication that with vision, courage and purposeful leadership, the dream of a new Nigeria is realisable.

“The love from workers and visitors wey stop to take pictures, gist and share moments with us reminded me of something important: People still dey hungry for hope.
“Not the hope wey politicians dey promise every election season.

CharlyBoy hailed Aliko Dangote, founder and president/chief executive of the Dangote Group, for building the refinery widely celebrated as a strategic industrial achievement for Nigeria and the African continent.
“As Baba, Dangote and I stood together for photographs, I no just see three men.
“I see three different journeys. Different paths. Different convictions.

“Nigeria still get challenges. Plenty. But days like this remind me say possibility still dey alive. And sometimes, seeing is believing.”
