Candidate’s Manifesto: A Pointer For Good Leadership

No doubt, the game towards 2023 general elections has begun.

Aspirants are consulting and campaigning for delegate votes in the coming parties primaries.

It should be noted that, the highest mistake of making the right choice of candidate, starts from parties primaries.

In parties primaries, money bags have their way 60%, president/governor directives has 30%, while capacity to deliver on people’s mandate has just 10%.

It’s clear that, majority delegate seek the highest bidder in terms of money, followed by the directive of the president/governor or a godfather, capacity which is the collective interest of all, just have 10% in the hearts of majority delegate, that is why in most cases, incompetent becomes parties flag bearer, which has lead us to this state of Nation.

However, a good candidate can be know from his manifesto and how he defends his promises.

A man who defends his promises as an aspirant is a man who is informed, equipped, and prepared to take on his promises when finally elected. It is easy to make promises but not easy to defend them.

Any aspirant who has begun consultation and campaign but has no blue print/manifesto on how he intends to run his government from the day one in office, which is the social contract agreement between him and the electorate by now, is not a good candidate and not prepared.

We are watching all Aspirants across parties at all levels to see those with good manifesto and are well defended.

We are also examining their confidence and composition to deliver on the social contract in line with our mandate to ensure good Leadership in the state.

As we begin the search for MOSES in the new circle of Leadership in 2023,at deferent level, we must be guarded by our past to making good decisions to avoid repeating history.

INEC will not count your prayer points nor will God give you angel Michael as president, governor or representatives, it’s your votes that will count therefore GET YOUR PVC.

You don’t need to buy me to serve/rule me, except you want to enslave me, you only need to convince me, your ability to protect me.

Therefore, note that, those who brings you gift and money are too desperate to be true and real.

Many aspirants don’t even know the nation economic status, they are only desperate to hold power.

Nigeria is in huge debts, and a mono economy only divercified on the pages of news paper.

We have more powerful people than we have powerful institutions.

They are promising free Education from primary to University, free Health care, payment of unemployed youths and aged people, in a country with 72% debt service obligation, a country struggling with huge financial deficit, a country where almost every trade union are on strike every now and then due to inadequate funding, a country ravaged by insecurity and collapse infrastructure etc, where are they going to get funding for these promises.

You will know the Wolfe from their lies, many promises and how they dish out money to induce you.

Nigeria is sinking, the Moses of 2023 has a huge responsibilities beyound just promises, he need to tell us how he intends to solve these numerous issues.and we have to be convinced.

Nigerians should be more concerned about how they intend to handle the present huge financial deficit to address infrastructure, economy and security before telling us they are going to buy us cars, build duplex marry for us etc, for all Nigerians.

This is what they did in 2015, till now, they are still blaming past administration, when they get in by cheap promises, they will blame Bihari for their failure.

Some tell us modernization, we love the language, it is good, but tell us how possible it is with this present economic reality and the high rate of corruption where an average Nigerian sees governance as an opportunity to blow, now that supreme Court has limited EFCC financial investigations in States.

Don’t be carried away by their promises, let them Publish their mission statement and how they intend to run their government to achieve their promises from day one in office.

Repeating history at this time of Nigeria history only means, Nigeria is the pit of hell God created in Bible, politicians are the angel meant to tonment the siners who are Nigerian.

A word is enough for the wise.
