@inecnigeria has declared candidate of @OfficialAPCNg as the winner of Chairmanship election of Abaji Area council. He pulled a total of 7,280 votes to defeat his closest rival who pulled a total of 4,062.

Results from Abaji Area Council have been put on hold pending the Supreme Court’s decision on the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) – which currently leads in the Chairmanship race

The FCT has 6 Area Councils with the PDP winning the Bwari, Kuje and Abuja Municipal Area Councils leaving the APC with the Kwali, Gwagwalada and Abaji Area Councils.
Danladi Chiya was returned for second term as Kwali Area Council Chairman.
