2,236 Pioneering LASUED Graduates for National Service

About 2,236 pioneering graduates of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) are  participating in the ongoing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Course in preparation for national service.

This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Ilesanmi Obanla, Coordinator, Information and Public Relations Unit, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, LASUED, on Monday.

The statement described the development as a historic achievement for the university.

It congratulated the university’s management and the entire university community on the development.

The statement contained pictures of some of the graduates at their respective NYSC orientation camps.

Newsextra24 reports that LASUED became a university on Feb. 2, 2022, when the Lagos State Government officially merged and upgraded two legacy colleges of education.

Lagos State Government merged the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education at Oto/Ijanikin and the Michael Otedola College of Primary Education at Noforija, Epe.
