Fourteen Super Falcons players have reported to camp ahead of Nigeria’s 2028 Olympic qualifying clash against Comoros.
The Super Falcons confirmed the development in a post shared on their X handle on Monday, with the players currently in camp ahead of the two-legged second-round qualifier.
The players in camp are Farida Abdulwahab, Tumininu Adeshina, Joy Igbokwe, Fatimoh Solaty, Christiana Uzoma, Blessing Nkor, Valentina Uroko, Glory Edet, Sandra John, Shukurat Oladipo, Shakirat Moshood, Glory Ogbonna, Favour Omenazu and Suliat Abideen.”
Interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen had invited 28 players for the Olympic qualifying assignment against Comoros.
The first leg is scheduled for Friday, October 9, while the return leg will be played on Tuesday, October 13.
Both matches are scheduled for the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, with Comoros using the venue because it does not have a CAF-approved stadium for international fixtures.
The Super Falcons received a bye into the second round of the Olympic qualifying competition, while Comoros progressed after defeating Sudan 30-0 on aggregate.
Nigeria must advance through the qualifying rounds to secure one of Africa’s two available places at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

More players are expected to join the squad before the opening fixture.
