WAW, reasserting its mission to continuously supports Nigerian talents while deepening its lifestyle brand appeal, hosted the Nigerian Idol Contestants to a star-studded, lit celebratory event at a highbrow center in Lagos state.
The event, hosted by Expand Global Industries Limited (EGIL) staff, the makers of WAW and NIttol detergents, saw the Nigerian Idol contestants dug it out on the dance floor to melodious beats, with relaxed smiles on their faces. EGIL is a subsidiary of Henkel in Nigeria
The Nigerian Idol finalists, Zodak, Banty, Progress, Itohan, Jordan, Gerald, Abigail, Faith, and David Operah, all took turns on the stage to dish out various melodious tunes that got all present excited and wowed.
Funke Akindele, Nigerian actress and Henkel Brand Ambassador, with WAW Brand Ambassadors, Kingdom and Akunna, were also in attendance.
An in-house “Henkel Idol” competition also happened, where three Henkel staff were crowned winners. Following the excitement, WAW took it a step further and presented 100k dummy cheques to all twelve singers.
RajatKapur, the MD/CEO of the company, reinforced the brand’s commitment to providing the best quality to customers and supporting the Nigerian community through its charitable and creative initiatives.

Kingdom performed his newly released single ‘For You’ and had the crowd enthralled with his vocals, reminding everyone once again just why he was the season 6 winner of the Nigerian Idol.
