Midfielder Casemiro, who is leaving Real Madrid to join Manchester United, sent an emotional farewell message to the team’s fans.
The midfielder from Brazil will soon sign a £60 million deal with Manchester United.
Following an agreement between the two clubs, the 30-year-old Brazilian international is travelling to Old Trafford for a medical.
He wrote on Twitter: “I have lived the most wonderful story that I ever thought. I hope to return one day to what will always be my home.
“Not in a thousand lifetimes will I be able to give back to Real Madrid and Real Madrid all that you have given me. Forever… Hala Madrid!”
