President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Mr Nebolisa Emodi, former Permanent Secretary, State House, and Chairman of Ideas and Visions Consultancy Ltd., on his 65th birthday.
Tinubu described Emodi as a seasoned bureaucrat, whose distinguished career in public service and engineering was marked by competence, integrity and commitment to national development.
This is contained in a statement by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Monday in Abuja.
The President commended Emodi’s role as Permanent Secretary, State House, where he ensured a smooth transition, following the 2015 general elections.
Before his tenure at the State House from 2014 to 2015, Emodi served as permanent secretary, Federal Ministry of Transport, where he supervised efforts to revive Nigeria’s railway system between 2011 and 2014.
Tinubu also commended Emodi’s contributions to engineering and technological development, describing him as an invaluable asset to the nation.
“As a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, you have remained an invaluable asset to the nation.
“You have demonstrated professionalism, technical expertise and capacity in providing steady leadership and mentorship for aspiring leaders in technology and engineering.
“On this milestone, I wish you well and pray that Almighty God will grant you many more years in good health, wisdom and strength, as you continue to contribute to nation building,” the president said.
