In response to growing economic pressures affecting vulnerable households, The Esther Arokun Foundation (TESAR) has carried out a targeted relief outreach in Ibadan, providing essential food and hygiene items to women, teenagers, and children within underserved communities.
The outreach, themed “One Gift, Many Smiles” was designed to cushion the impact of economic hardship while reinforcing the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to empowering women and children through advocacy, education, and practical support.
Beneficiaries gathered in large numbers as TESAR volunteers distributed carefully selected items aimed at improving household welfare and promoting healthy living.
Women received food supplies and oral care products to support family nutrition and hygiene. Teenage girls were presented with roll-ons to encourage personal care and confidence, while younger children received toothbrushes and toothpaste to instill preventive health habits early in life. The Foundation noted that the selection of items was intentional, focused not only on immediate relief but also on promoting sustainable well-being.

Speaking on the outreach, Esther Arokun, Founder of TESAR Foundation, stated: “This is our way of giving back and easing economic hardship in Oyo State, particularly in Ibadan. We understand the realities many families are facing, and through initiatives like this, we aim to offer practical support while also reinforcing hope within our communities.”
She further emphasized that community-based interventions remain central to the Foundation’s mission of equipping women and children with the resources and knowledge necessary for long-term development. The programme was strengthened through the support of partner brands and individual donors whose contributions formed part of the distributed packages.

Their involvement underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing grassroots challenges and advancing community health. TESAR Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to expanding similar relief efforts across communities in Ibadan and other parts of Oyo State, stressing that meaningful change begins with consistent, people-centered engagement.
