Former Senate President Bukola Saraki on Friday celebrated the posthumous birthday of Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Newsextra24 reports.
Saraki said the late lawmaker lived a remarkable life. He also commiserated with the people of Osun and the Adeleke family.
Adeleke also served as Osun governor between 1992 and 1983. He died on April 23, 2017, at a hospital in Osogbo, Osun State capital. A coroner inquest had indicted Adeleke’s private nurse Alfred Aderibigbe of administering drug overdose on the deceased. But an Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo discharged and acquitted Aderibigbe in December 2020. |
