Saka’s Goal Fires Gunners To EPL Top Spot

Arsenal remains top of the Premier League table after defeating Leeds United 1-0 at Elland Road, on Sunday.

Bukayo Saka’s strike in the 35th minute helped the Gunners secure the top spot on the table and go home with three points, after being assisted by midfielder, Martin Odegaard.

The game had been delayed for 40mins due to a collapse in power that led to technical and communication issues

In the dramatic course of the match Leeds United’s Patrick Bamford missed a penalty in the 64th minute, after a VAR decision confirmed William Saliba’s handball in the penalty area.

Saliba also received a yellow card for the hand ball.

Arsenal’s central defender, Gabriel Magalhaes, escaped a red card, after VAR overtuned the referee’s decision in the 90th minute, to a yellow card.

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, was man of the match, having saved series of attempts from Leeds United.
