SUPER Falcons winger Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Atletico Madrid Femmine’s Player of the Season.
It’s the first time the Nigerian will win the individual accolade.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a remarkable campaign for the Reds and Whites.
Ajibade registered 10 goals and eight assists for Atletico Madrid during the 2023–24 season.
The former FC Robo player scored the decisive goal on the final day of the season against Villarreal, which secured UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification for Atletico.
She is expected to feature for Nigeria at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
