At THE Passing Out Parade of the 5th Regular Course of the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, Kano State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu conveyed his commitment to bolstering security and law enforcement agencies and elevating the well-being of personnel. Vice President Kashim Shettima represented the President during the event.
President Tinubu, through Vice President Shettima, assured attendees of the administration’s dedication to addressing security challenges in Nigeria through a multi-faceted approach.
He emphasized that synergy among various agencies is pivotal to achieving the nation’s security goals and objectives.
The President laid out the strategic pillars of the administration’s security strategy. Firstly, he highlighted the allocation of additional resources, training, and equipment to strengthen the capabilities and effectiveness of law enforcement agencies, including the Police Force and other security bodies.
Simultaneously, the administration is bolstering national and international intelligence networks and systems to counter transnational threats.
President Tinubu acknowledged the necessity of collaboration with other countries to effectively combat security challenges.
In addition to security measures, the administration is launching comprehensive social and economic development initiatives aimed at promoting inclusiveness, unity, and economic prospects for all citizens, as well as foreign investors.
While commending the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their ongoing efforts, President Tinubu stressed the importance of collective support to enhance public safety.
He urged active involvement to improve the security of lives, properties, and investments for both Nigerian citizens and foreign investors.
