Photos Of The Snake I Killed In My Living Room

This evening while I was in the room, my wife was still at the living room, she saw this snake crawling on the tiles in the living room and yelled.

I didn’t believe her when she screamed she saw a snake but decided to check it out. Truly, it was a snake and I reached for a stick which I used to smash the head.

Please what species is it and how dangerous could it have been? It isn’t really big yet. Could there be more?
