TO mark the 91st birthday of a renowned Diplomat and Statesman, Chief Emeka Anyaoku GCON, the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo CFR on Thursday January 18, 2024, commissioned the Emeka and Bunmi Anyaoku Foundation Center, Obosi.
The Center houses a museum that exhibits cultural artefacts from Anambra, Nigeria and the multi racial Commonwealth countries . It also has a library of books and materials, which include some of the personal papers of Chief Anyaoku, from his days in office, as Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
The Emeka and Bunmi Anyaoku Foundation Center stands as one of the legacies of a well decorated diplomat more so, the siting of the centre in Obosi, Anambra, is inline with Governor Soludo’s vision to bring the world to Anambra and take Anambra to the world.
