[PHOTONEWS] Renovation: Reps Move Plenary To Temporary Chamber

The management of the National Assembly has created a new chamber to accommodate plenary activities as the popular Green Chamber is under renovation.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, was said to have, on Wednesday, assessed the Green Chamber and the new makeshift chamber that was created.

The new 270-seater chamber capacity is less than the 360 members of the chamber.

Plenary is expected to resume September 20 as the lawmakers are still on holiday.
