Young members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Thursday stormed the National Secretariat of the party to demand the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
Most of the protesters carried placards with inscriptions reading, “Ayu Must Go”, “Ayu must step down”, “We need justice, and fairness for all”, we don’t want Northern PDP, we don’t want southern PDP”, “we have to be united, not divided” and “we don’t want to lose any election in 2023”.
Meanwhile, the party National Executive Committee (NEC) members have started arriving at the party National Headquarters in Abuja.
