Oyo APC campaign: City Boy Movement reiterates commitment to grassroots mobilisation

The Director of the City Boy Movement in Oyo State, Mr. Olufemi Onireti, has reaffirmed the movement’s unwavering commitment to aggressive grassroots mobilisation to ensure a clean sweep for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 General Election.

Onireti made the assertion on Saturday in Ibadan while receiving the leadership of the BSA Door-to-Door Campaign Support Group in his office.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the director urged the support group to remain united, focused, and deeply committed to its local outreach, emphasising that sustained grassroots engagement remains the ultimate key to political victory.

He noted that intensifying mobilisation for the re-election of Senator Sharafadeen Alli (Oyo South) and all other APC candidates across the state is crucial at this political juncture.

To practically strengthen the group’s field operations, Onireti pledged a financial donation of ₦2 million alongside the provision of a brand-new operational bus to ease logistics across Oyo State’s various local government areas.

He also expressed appreciation to the BSA Door-to-Door Campaign Support Group for appointing him as its Grand Patron, assuring the members of his continuous financial and strategic support to help them achieve their campaign objectives.

Earlier, the Director-General of the support group, Mr Boluwatife Ganiyu, explained that the visit was organised to appreciate Onireti for his consistent philanthropy and to seek his political guidance as they ramp up their door-to-door awareness campaigns.

Ganiyu added that the group chose to pitch its tent with Onireti due to his vast political experience, accessibility to the masses, and proven track record of supporting grassroots structures in the state.
