For thousands of students anxiously trying to write their exam on Monday, the site took an unexpected turn and crash, leading authorities to believe it was hacked by students who were not prepared for the exam.
Some speculated it was the work of Russian hackers,As the University has accepted, the website crashed due to
the heavy traffic – as many as 1,000 people logged into
it when it was thrown open on June 14. The traffic was due
to the anxiety caused among students due to the delay in
the starting the process.
