Nigeria Should Tap More Into Tourism – NNPP Candidate

Governorship candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the elections in Ogun State, Olufemi Oguntoyinbo, has urged the Federal Government to make Nigeria a tourist site.

Oguntoyinbo, who travelled out of the country yesterday to Tanzania, on a week holiday with his family, called on the government to diversify the economy.

He said diversification of the economy, especially improvement of the hospitality and tourism sector, would lead to economic growth and development.

Oguntoyinbo noted the abundance of natural tourist sites in the country, saying improved infrastructure, security and better corporate image would attract tourists to the country to boost the economy.

Ajadi implored the government to show more commitments to improving the tourism sector.

The NNPP standard-bearer is billed to visit historic sites and monuments in Tanzania, such as the wilderness, plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino), as well as Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain.
