NDLEA Arrests Female Suspect With 1.2kg of Cannabis In Nasarawa

NDLEA raises alarm over online drug sales

OPERATIVES of the Nasarawa State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have apprehended a 21-year-old female suspect, identified as Zainab Umar, with 1.2kg of Cannabis sativa, commonly known as marijuana.

She was arrested in Mararaba during an operation conducted by the Karu Area Command of the agency on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

A statement issued by the agency confirmed the arrest and seizure of the illicit substance and stated that Zainab Umar, a resident of Nasarawa Local Government Area, Kano State, was caught with illegal drugs in her possession.

The suspect, currently in custody, will be arraigned in court, according to NDLEA.
