Director-General of Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP) Fouad Arif and Director-General of Emirates News Agency (WAM) Mohammed Al Hammadi on Friday held talks to explore new areas of media cooperation.
Arif and Al Hammadi in Rabat discussed ways to deepen bilateral ties through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance media platforms and promote the creation of innovative content
The talks also covered journalist training, knowledge-sharing, and strategies for producing high-quality digital media in response to growing industry demands with a focus on digital innovation and content development.
Both officials reaffirmed the strength of Morocco-UAE ties, in line with the vision of HM King Mohammed VI and UAE President HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Following the meeting, Al Hammadi said his visit aims to explore “new avenues of cooperation” between MAP and WAM to support media development and innovation.
He also stressed the importance of building on the strong bilateral partnership to serve the evolving needs of the press and media sectors.
