Kaduna Police Arrest Suspected Serial Goat Thief

THE Kaduna State Police Command made an announcement that they have detained a suspected thief who has been involved in the theft of goats in Pasali Konu village, located in the Kagarko Local Government Area of the state.

The apprehension of the suspected thief was conveyed to the News Agency of Nigeria by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansur Hassan. He revealed that the arrest was made by a surveillance team and vigilante members during their visibility patrol at the village on November 11 at approximately 0430hrs. The 20-year-old suspect, who is from Igwa village of Kagarko LGA, was found with dangerous weapons and a facemask. He confessed to his involvement in stealing goats and disclosed that there were two individuals involved in the act. The police caught one suspect while the other managed to escape. However, efforts are ongoing to track down and apprehend the fleeing suspect. After the completion of preliminary investigations, the suspect will be prosecuted. Hassan emphasized the commitment of the command to eradicate all forms of criminal activities in the state, while also urging the public to provide timely and valuable information to help prevent crimes.
