The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, is currently meeting with Commissioners of Police and heads of police formations, in Abuja, to strategise on the forthcoming 2023 general elections, and the security situation in the country.
The security meeting, ongoing at the Force Headquarters, is being attended by CPs, Assistant Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Inspectors General of Police, and other top-ranked police officers.
Newsextra24 reports that the major focus of the meeting is election security towards the 2023 general elections, and an improvement on the security architecture of the country, to checkmate criminals and nip criminal activities in the bud.
