INEC Commences Upload Of Kogi, Imo, Bayelsa Polling Unit Results On IReV

Update: 2023 Governorship Election Results Updated To INEC IReV Portal So Far

THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced uploading Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa state polling unit results to the INEC Result Viewing (ReV) portal.

Newsextra24 had earlier reported that voting was held in Bayelsa State, Kogi State, and Imo State today.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Social Democratic Party (SDP), and other political parties battled to gain control of the states.

Political heavyweights like Senator Dino Melaye, Athan Achonu, Governor Hope Uzodimma, Governor Duoye Diri, Usman Ododo, Tony Ejiogu, Senator Sam Anyanwu, Senator Timipre Sylva, amongst others, are hoping to emerge victorious today.

As of 5 p.m., the electoral body uploaded 51.8% of the election results in Bayelsa on the IREV portal.

Similarly, the electoral body has uploaded 36.83% of the results in Kogi and 48.21% in Imo State.

The remaining results are expected to be uploaded in the coming hours as INEC collates and verifies the data.
