FULANI Herdsmen strike at Evbosi along Benin-Abraka road on Monday afternoon 20th of November 2023 and made away with two victims whose whereabouts are yet unknown.
The victims whose names were simply given as Mr Samson and Messrs Enove were test running their vehicle after fixing before they suddenly encountered Fulani herdsmen along Evbosi Abraka road in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.
The electrician Mr Segun, was able to escaped while the two mechanic, Messrs Enove and Samson were unfortunate as both were abducted by the herdsmen.
Mr Segun, the survivor of the ugly incident, narrated his ordeal to the eyewitness who relates the incident to Trojan News Media Correspondent in Benin City.
“It’s unfortunate that in 21st Century Nigeria and Edo State we still harbor criminal elements who are walking freely and roaming our towns and buses undetected.
“Governor Godwin Obaseki who has been giving himself numerous awards as the best Governor in Nigeria with his hired social media urchins singing his praises will not allow the rest of the world to know this because billions of Naira released to secure the people have been stolen.
“Where are we going to get (N20,000,000) Twenty Million Naira being demanded by the kidnappers”?, he lamented.
Sources revealed that in the last two over 50 people have been kidnapped while more 18 people have been killed, between Evbosi and Abraka, in an approximately 8 kilometers stretch of road.
