Rear Adm. Ahmad Gaya, Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command has inaugurated a state-of-the-art conference room and a spectacular billboard at the Nigerian Navy SHIP SOROH (NNS SOROH), and commended the Commander.
The FOC gave the commendation in Yenagoa on Wednesday, during the inauguration.
Gaya commended the Commander, Officers, and Ratings of NNS SOROH for the laudable achievement, as a Command.
He described the renovated auditorium as a welcome development that would serve both NNS SOROH and HQ CNC in a comfortable and ambient environment.
The FOC emphasised the importance of prioritising personnel welfare, aligning with the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla’s mission and vision statement.
Commander NNS SOROH, Commodore Omobamidele Akinbami, thanked the FOC, for the honour of commissioning the landmark project and assured him of the Base’s continued commitment to combating all forms of illegalities within its Area of Responsibility.
