THE First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu has congratulated Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro, a former Minister of State for Defence, on his 65th birthday.
Mrs Tinubu in a congratulatory message issued by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, on Monday in Abuja, described Obanikoro as ‘one of the strong pillars of progress in the nation”.
“I celebrate with you, your well-wishers, associates and family members on your 65th birthday.
“As Senator, Minister, and Diplomat, you have contributed meaningfully to national development.
“I pray you celebrate many more years in Divine health, joy and peace. Happy birthday, your excellency!,” she said
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports Obanikoro is an apex leader within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council.
Obanikoro served as Senator representing Lagos Central from 2003 to 2007 and later as Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana.
