Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has thrown jibes at former Senate President Bukola Saraki who recently led a reconciliation committee of the Peoples Democratic Party on a visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Newsextra24 reports.
Mr Fani-Kayode said in a tweet on Thursday that it was ironic for Saraki to be part of the team after he (Saraki) left the PDP in 2014 and allegedly cost Mr Jonathan the 2015 presidential election.
The visit of the PDP reconciliation committee came amid rumour the ruling All Progressives Congress was planning to offer Jonathan a presidential ticket in 2023. Fani-Kayode, meanwhile, has met some APC leaders and is believed to be holding talks on joining the party. But the ex-minister insists he is still a PDP member. |
