The Yaba branch Chairman of the Nigeria Union Teachers (NUT), FCT Wing, Comrade Yahaya Musa, has died in a motor accident along the Izom-Minna road in Niger State.
According to Daily Trust, the Secretary of the Yaba branch of the union, who confirmed the death on Monday, said the late Musa Yahaya died last Friday afternoon.
He said Musa, who was the Vice Principal (Academic) of Govt Junior Secondary School (GJSS), Gasakpa, in Abaji Area Council, was driving alone in his Golf car when he crashed into a ditch.
Reacting, the Chairman of the FCT Wing of the NUT, Comrade Stephen Knabayi, said the union was shocked over the incident and prayed Allah to grant him eternal rest.
