Ebonyi State Government, under the leadership of Rt Hon Francis Nwifuru, has approved the building of a befitting duplex for Sixty Five (65) traditional rulers presently holding sway in the State.
The Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Jude Okpor, made this known while briefing Journalists on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
According to Okpor, the building the duplex for the traditional rulers is to fulfill the campaign promises made to them.
The Ebonyi State Executive Council approved the construction of a befitting duplex for each of the Traditional Rulers presently holding sway in their respective communities across the state in fulfillment of the campaign promise of our governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. ”
Okpor also approved the procurement and distribution of Thirteen Thousand (13,000) bags of fertilizers to farmers across the state.
Meanwhile, Okpor noted that the Exco has also approved the purchase of vehicles for Executive Council members, House of Assembly members, and Security Agencies.
