Dangote vs BUA – Two Fulani Herdsmen At War

THIS is one war everybody is pretending not to know is happening. Nobody is outwardly taking sides and all just going about their businesses as if nothing is going on.

Dangote vs Rabiu: Clash of the Titans - New African Magazine

If you have heard of the cola wars then you just might begin to understand what exactly is going on here. But let me add that this fulani wars make the cola wars look like a game of muppets.

Petitions and counter petitions usually thrown in by named and mostly unnamed cronies. Invitations to authorities to investigate and reinvestigate while still pushing very powerful and Ethically strong brand positioning in the markets is the order of the day.

I am tired of being silent as I really do not understand the reason for the strain. Both firms have very powerful and brilliant promoters. They are doing wonders for the markets, creating jobs, impacting infrastructure and between both of them pay billions in various taxes to all tiers of Government but yet do not like each other.

I’ve had very meaningful conversations with top people in one arm of the conflict and my guest remains aghast as to the level of chicanery going on. If we do pasta they will do. If we do flour they will do mayb we should start doing beer and at that point everything will scatter, he proclaims in frustration.

I even hear that the authorities are tired and they themselves don’t even know what is going on. Even the newly appointed super investigator whose job it is to fumigate the CBN have also been a recipient of petitions from these two.

Very observant people have seen advertorials and social media mentions carryinv very salacious information about both firms and their principals. The titles screaming – Tinubu receives petitions on massive fraud involving forex by….

Before you bat an eyelid we see another such advertorial accusing the other of same multi billion Naira robbery of the country thru forex

My people you do not need to be an Einstein to know that these petitions have their origins in Falomo and Vi and that it is just another shameful turning around by these two who represent the very best in Nigerian entrepreneurial endeavours.

The coke wars were fought on strategy, market share and the like using adverts, communications and other such allied strategy as main weopons.

We did not hear them ask FBI to arrest or probe. Or CIA to investigate. There own fight was always at the level of market share.

These two are forbes rated. Africa’s finest and worthy ambassadors so why they cannot put head together and consolidate their huge achievements for the betterment of Africa beats me as I write.

Let’s continue pretending as if we don’t know what is happening shebi the Federal Government that used to be the largest employer of labour have failed us, it is until these two who together represent the biggest employers of labour and the biggest producers of FmCG and the biggest tax payers annihilate themselves in a needless and childish brouhaha that we will now sit up and say – Guys that’s enough, grow up.

I have said my own this night and anybody who doesn’t like it can come and beat me.

Thanks
