CODE NIGERIA INDEX

2022 is the end of another leadership circle in Nigeria. We have all witnessed and read about various administrations and leadership since 1960 till date; we can compare and contrast.

It’s time to note the roles of individuals, groups, regions, ethnic groups, religions and organizations in the developmental history of Nigeria both at the federal, state, constituency, LGA and ward levels. We have failed and can not continue to pretend under the trojan horse of a saintly austere system of retrogression that hope lays on the cushion of the future that bleaks with disillusionment and fluctuating expectations.

The narrative must change. The time has come for us to go back to our drawing board, reflect solemnly on our past, and make a viable pragmatic sketch for our future.

Code Nigeria Index is the resonate, a code inherent in a deliberate drive to build a Nigerian nation that recreates that lost hope of providing a land that is full of opportunities for all;an egalitarian society; a great and dynamic nation etc, as we had been once told.

Code Nigeria Index nurses an ideology that reverberates our collective national will for a people oriented mutual socio-economic development and political advancement.

Under the Code Nigeria Index, everything labelled Nigeria becomes the fulcrum of our focal focus.

Politically, anyone vieing for any elective positions must show evidence that he not only schooled in Nigeria but also that his children were or are students studying at any indigenous Nigerian varsity. The culture of patronizing western education institutions is the leading cause why utmost priority has been denied the attention indigenous universities need at the moment.

The idea of politicians training their children abroad at the expense of neglecting our indigenous universities must stop.No man gives what he does not have.If those over there had not taken deliberate actions to strengthen their educational institutions,
where would we have had the opportunity of travelling abroad to study. Thus, that culture must go into extinction.

Indigenous industries must be awaken.Every thing we consume must derive its value from local content. We must be deliberate about trade surplus as against the heavy trade deficit that has eaten deeply like a can of worms into the economic fabrics of our nation.

It’s time to identify what has limited us: it’s time to ask ourselves what we have failed to do.

History has shown that the failure of Nigeria to meet her primary responsibilities is a collective negligence of “Nigeria First”.

The patriots have refused to rise. Nigeria calls but we have refused to obey. We have refused to serve our fatherland with love, strength and faith.

The labour of our past heroes is becoming in vain. No one is serving Nigeria with our heart and might; we now serve ourselves in a Nation bonded in freedom.

As we begin the search for MOSES in the new circle of leadership in 2023 at different levels, we must be guided by our past in making good decisions to avoid repeating history.

Prayer is necessary but
INEC will not count your prayer points nor will God give you angel Michael as president, governor or representatives; it’s your votes that God will use to bring in the right persons. Your votes count; therefore, GET YOUR PVC.

Those who build community build peace for all, but those who build themselves build violence in society. Therefore, don’t allow your personal interest overshadows the collective interest/needs of the generality in your decision to cast your votes in the primaries or general elections; think of the poverty rate, displaced Nigerians, unemployment, collapsed infrastructure, strike by various trade unions, insecurity etc.
