BREAKING: President Tinubu To Address Nigerians on Thursday

PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu will address the nation at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, as part of the official lineup of events commemorating the 2025 Democracy Day celebration.

According to a statement released on Wednesday by Abdulhakeem Adeoye, speaking on behalf of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Democracy Day, the President is also scheduled to appear before a joint session of the National Assembly later the same day at 12 noon.

“There will be no Democracy Day parade,” the statement clarified.

In place of the traditional parade, a public lecture will be held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja. The lecture is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. and will focus on the theme: “Consolidating on the Gains of Nigeria’s Democracy: Necessity of Enduring Reforms.”
