Today I commissioned, 10 Ultra Modern Fire Service Trucks worth N1.8bn into service of the Federal Fire Service (@FedFireng).
It may interest you to know that in line with the National Response Strategy, @FedFireng
responded to 2,615 Fire Calls, saved 724 lives and assets worth N1.629 trillion between June and October 2019 across the country.
According to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbeshola, these “ultra modern fire service trucks” cost whooping N1.8 billion.
The truck actual name is TGM 18.280 fire fighter truck, and the price is €195,000 in VAN VLIET.
Even if CBN sold euros to you at € 1 = ₦ 439 ( which I don’t think so), then each truck should cost you ₦85,605,000 and ten should cost ₦856,000,000
Say with the shipping and clearing of these trucks you should still spend a maximum of 95 million naira each!
In other words, Rauf have swallowed the remaining 900 million naira
